Part 1B:
I think this picture relates to the book, "To kill a Mocking bird" because the African Americans just sat around,
and hoped and prayed that some day this crisis will end the great depression will be over. Also this picture
shows the emotions of the people during this time and how they are treated and how their lifestyles were.
They look unhappy, poor, sad and lonely, waiting for hope to come, and they live poor and simply.

Part 2 A:
This picture shows the streets of the town. In the picture I noticed it says Fixings for Men, men's clothes.
They are old, dusty and dirty, recked, and clutered. I can see that there are old toys and books filling the streets.
I am guessing that this image was created during the great depression era.

This is a picture of children from the great depression era. These children look hungry, poor,
unhappy, waiting for hope, and wanting and needing money. These children also look like
they around the ages of 10-12. Also, this picture is missing some detail. In the picture, it looks like they
are standing in a little shack made of wood.

There would always be
colored signs everywhere to
separate the blacks and the
whites.
They would have separate theaters
and restaurants for colored and
non colored people.
There would be separate
bathrooms and rest stops for colored and
non colored people too.

Part 3 A:
These 5 people that I chose represent this time period because they all had to go through the
Great depression which they lost a lots of money from. They also had hard working jobs for many
hours a day. These people are much alike.

Part 4 A:
Remember when we would sit on the porch and gaze into the sun remembering the good days?
We talk about the streets of town that were deserted and empty.
Remember the workers in the fields going about their days work.
And the children waiting for lives to turn around and become good and whole.
Now the days are filled with separation and hatred.
Let us always remember the good days and the good things in life, when the bad heads our way.
